Flores and Ugas victorious

Undefeated featherweight Miguel Flores (21-0, 9 KOs) scored a hard fought ten round unanimous decision over Ryan Kielczweski (25-2, 7 KOs) on Friday night at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York. After ten entertaining back and forth rounds, Flores’ workrate swayed the judges. Scores were 97-93, 96-94, 96-94.

2008 Olympic bronze medalist Yordenis Ugas (16-3, 7 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten welterweight contender Jamal James (20-1, 9 KOs). Scores were 99-91, 98-92, 96-94. James stepped in on short notice to replace Bryant Perrella, who was forced to withdraw by the local commission due to an injury.

The card wrapped up PBC’s deal with ESPN.
