Menayothin defeats Juarez, retains WBC minimumweight world championship

Unbeaten WBC minimumweight champion Wanheng Menayothin (43-0, 17 KOs) of Thailand hammered out a hard fought twelve round unanimous decision against Saul “Baby” Juarez (23-5-1, 12 KOs) on Tuesday afternoon at the City Hall Ground in Chonburi, Thailand. Scores were 115-113, 116-112 and 116-113 for Menayothin, who retained his WBC title for the fifth time.
