Roy Jones Jr. back in the ring tonight

By Togorashi

Former world champion Roy Jones Jr. (63-9, 46 KOs) returns to the ring tonight at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Florida. The 47-year-old Jones will take on 40-year-old “Rocking” Rodney Moore (17-11-2, 7 KOs). Jones said this won’t be his last fight unless he loses.

“If it doesn’t come out the way I want it to be, of course it will be my last,” Jones told his hometown Pensacola News Journal. “I can’t see that happening. I can’t see myself not handling my business. Don’t get me wrong, the guy does have a good left hook. And when you are older it’s not as easy to take those licks as when you were younger. At the same you have to be smart enough to avoid the licks and maybe get the licks in first. I don’t think this guy should beat me.”
