“I don’t overlook Dmitry. My thing is that I don’t try to look at and critique fighters that I’m fighting. My trainers, my team goes over (what Bivol does) days and days, weeks and weeks and I try to implement that. If they prepared and expect a defensive fight from me, they trained for a wrong fighter,” said Cedric Agnew (29-2, 15 KO) before Saturday’s non-title clash against 26-year-old WBA Interim light heavyweight champ from Russia Dmitry Bivol (10-0, 8 KO). Bivol-Agnew will be broadcast live as a part of Ward-Kovalev PPV at Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas.
