Super welterweight and one of Top Rank’s rising stars, Joey Alday (4-0, 4 KOs), headlines this Friday night at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas. The charismatic Alday had a fantastic amateur career and although he fell short of his dream of making the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team in Rio he has shown flashes of his great potential after four pro fights.

At 6’1” and only 22, he is very tall for his weight and is still filling into his body as he gains valuable experience as Top Rank moves him up the ranks. Based in Odessa, Texas, this will be Alday’s 3rd fight at The Bomb Factory.

Another Top Rank prospect on the card is exciting welterweight Arturo Marquez (7-0, 4 KOs) out of Houston. Marquez is the son of former World Champion Raul Marquez, who is now an analyst for Showtime Boxing and was also promoted by Top Rank during his career. The younger Marquez fought at The Bomb Factory in June of last year.

Lightweight Gabriel Flores Jr. (1-0, 1 KOs) will look for his second win. Flores Jr. out of Stockton, CA signed with Top Rank at 16 making him their youngest fighter ever. Top Rank believes Flores Jr. is a future star.

Popular Dallas fighter, lightweight Alex Del Bosque (12-4, 8 KOs), will be showcased for the third fight in a row at the popular Bomb Factory Fight Club series. Del Bosque holds the ABO lightweight title. Joining Del Bosque from Dallas is featherweight Ray Ximenez (15-1, 4 KOs) who brings an exciting style to every fight.

The card is promoted by Golden Eagle Promotions in association with Montoya-Ruibal Boxing. The Bomb Factory is located at 2713 Canton St in Deep Ellum, outside of downtown Dallas. Tickets are on sale at or at the door. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the first fight is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
