Showtime releases the full second installment for fight week.
It’s fight week, and to build up the anticipation Showtime Sports has just released the full series of All Access: Mayweather vs. McGregor for the world to see (unless there’s some geo-blocking I’m not aware of).
In this episode we begin with Mayweather pulling out stacks of cash on camera (surprise, surprise), Conor McGregor getting acclimated to boxing gloves, Mayweather doing hot yoga, and naturally a plug for Floyd’s new strip club venture.
Soon thereafter we’re back at the UFC training center where McGregor brings in longtime referee Joe Cortez for sparring sessions so he can get familiar with the rules of boxing. We also get a glimpse of Cortez lecturing Conor, saying he wants to see a cleaner sparring session than the previous one — where he apparently went well outside of the Marquess of Queensberry rules.
The last segment focuses on McGregor’s first sparring session with Paulie Malignaggi, with Paulie giving some insight as to what he experienced with Conor in the immediate aftermath of the session. Conor’s assessment on the sparring was much more concise: “He came, he got his ass whooped, and that’s it.”
