BJ Flores shuts out Guivas

WBA #10 heavyweight B.J. Flores (34-3-1, 21 KOs) scored a six-round shutout over Nick Guivas (13-6-2, 9 KOs) on Saturday night at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. Former cruiserweight world title challenger Flores stalked Guivas the whole fight, while Guivas offered very little in resistance. Scored 60-54 across the board.

Super welterweight brawler Vladimir Hernandez (9-2, 6 KOs) scored an eight round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Danny Valdivia (14-1, 10 KOs). The aggressive Hernandez pressed the action and came out on top 77-75, 77-75, 78-74.

Unbeaten heavyweight Adam Stewart (4-0-1, 2 KOs) stopped pro-debuting Michael Smith in round two. Smith’s corner threw in the towel.
