Middleweight Julian “J Rock” Williams (23-1-1, 15 KOs) defeated overmatched, Joshua Conley (14-2-1, 9 KOs) at the 58 second mark of the seventh round. Williams controlled the whole fight, dropping Conley to a knee early in round seven. Conley’s corner had seen enough mid seventh round and threw in the towel.
A controversial decision as super welterweight Jamontay Clark (12-0, 7 KOs) defeats Ivan Golub (13-1, 11 KOs) by unanimous decision (79-73, 77-75, 77-75). A very displeased crowd at the Huntington Center voiced their opinion, as the scorecards were announced. Golub seemed to have control of the fight and was the more offensive of the two fighters.
Super middleweight Damar Singleton (9-1, 5 KO’s) knocked down Cory Dulaney (5-5-1,4 KO’s) in the first and second rounds to score a knockout victory at the 1:23 mark of the 2nd Round. The first knockdown by Singleton resulted from a uppercut, while Dulaney was cornered. Singleton ended the night with a quick short right hand to the jaw of Dulaney.
Super welterweight Enver Halili (10-0 3 KOs) defeated hometown favorite Wesley Tucker (14-1 8 KOs) by UD (78-74, 79-73, 79-73). The fight showcased the speed of Halili, as well as his multiple punch combinations. Tucker, unable to find the elusive Halili with punches, was forced to counter most of the fight.
Female super featherweight Alycia Baumgardner improves to 3-0, 3 KOs against Lashonda Tabron (0-2) with a TKO win at the :57 mark of the first round. Baumgardner caught Tabron with a straight right in the center of the ring causing the knockout.
