Ex-fighter Terri Moss makes debut as a promoter

Former WIBF minimumweight champion Terri “The Boss” Moss will promote her first professional boxing card July 1st at Buckhead Fight Club in Atlanta, Georgia. “I’m thrilled to take this step as a professional promoter,” said Moss, who has promoted several fundraisers featuring amateur boxers. “The ‘Underground Showdown’ will feature several of my fighters as they step into the pro ranks. I want to bring competitive boxing to Atlanta and introduce local fighters that have potential.”

In the main event, Eric Moon (4-0) and Simeon Hardy (13-1) go toe-to-toe in a super middleweight contest. In the co-main event, Joe Creer (3-0) encounters Tobias Rice (5-17-1) in a cruiserweight bout.

The undercard also showcases welterweight Ray Barlow – who is managed by former world title challenger Zahir Raheem – making his pro debut against Jorge Gonzalez Rolon (0-3).

Ariel de la Trinidad versus Isidro Guzman features a pair of pro debuters in a welterweight bout.

Another fighter making his pro debut is Deonte Brown against the experienced Stephon McIntyre (2-33-1) in a lightweight tilt:

Former undisputed middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik will be a color commentator and Women’s boxing pioneer Christy Martin is a special guest.

The “Underground Showdown” is presented Saturday, July 1st by Terri Moss of Big Boss Enterprise at the Buckhead Fight Club (located at 3293 Buford Highway NE, #500, Brookhaven, GA).
