Juergen Braehmer will be taking on Rob Brant in the final quarterfinals match of the World Boxing Super Series.

Juergen Braehmer (48-3, 35 KOs) is currently slated to take on Rob Brant in the last quarterfinals match of the World Boxing Super Series’ super middleweight tournament this Friday. And with Braehmer looking to advance to the semifinals he says he’s not going to take any chances in looking past Brant, as reported by RingTV.

“Brant has won the Golden Gloves tournament as an amateur and the three other seeded fighters in the World Boxing Super Series, who could choose their opponents, obviously didn’t want him. That speaks for itself and I am not taking anything for granted.”

Conversely, Brant will be looking to make a name for himself in this outing and says he’s going to upset a lot of the local German fans by beating the hometown fighter in Braehmer.

“You can really feel the interest for the fight in this beautiful city,” said the visitor. “I will disappoint a lot of people because I am here to beat Braehmer. I don’t like to look beyond any opponent, but I trongly believe that I can win the super middleweight division of the World Boxing Super Series and take home the Muhammad Ali Trophy.”

The winner of this fight will move on to fight Callum Smith in the semifinals of the tourney, with the other semifinal fight to feature Chris Eubank Jr. vs George Groves.
