25-year-old Anthony Yigit (19-0-1, 7 KOs) will square off against Spanish official challenger Sandor Martin (29-1, 10 KOs) likely at the end of the summer in a Sauerland promoted event. Indeed, Sauerland Promotions and Gallego Prada Promociones, the two fighters’ handlers, just reached a private deal avoiding the purse bid that was about to go in play today at noon. Yigit won the belt convincingly outpointing British veteran Lenny Daws last February. Martin, aged 23 from Barcélona, Spain, is considered an interesting prospect and his best performance so far was a one-sided decision over Steve Jamoye in 2016. Both men are young and southpaw boxers. It will be interesting to find out who will be able to make the right tactical adjustments in front of his foe.
